I’ve been playing here every time I’m home from work and seriously considering doing the fifo membership. A really, really nice course, and will have some good views once the back 9 holes open. The clubhouse and restaurant is really welcoming, open and staff are always super nice and friendly. We always end up there having some drinks and a feed afterwards. We can eat our meal in peace and let the kids go and play as they love the massive park there. Just an awesome atmosphere and place to chill out, relax and have a beer on a sunday afternoon after your round of golf.
Very highly recommended even if you don’t play golf! Have always been well looked after and welcomed by staff and other members.
Golf course is on the improve but a bit rough and could be better maintained, but still challenging for a game of golf. The restaurant had good food, friendly staff and good tap beers, overall worth a visit. When the golf course completes it's update, it will become a must visit course.
Fell in love with this course from the very first round. Beautiful fairways and greens make it an absolute pleasure to play. If you want to play a course that will challenge your skill set, and improve your course management over time, then in my opinion this is the course for you. It offers you a completely different way to play golf than you are probably used too. With its lengthy par 4s, strategically placed links style bunkers, and weather elements that will have you laughing, it will certainly leave you wanting to experience more. Best course I have played in Australia for many many years, and glad to introduce family and friends to be new Members. Great family friendly facilities with spotless ammenities.
The best place to sit with a drink and a bite while the family play a round of golf or have a hit on the driving range. Can’t wait for the second nine to open. Also, Love the Birdie pop up functions too. Kokedama making and quiz nights both great events.
Only nine holes, with some reconstruction happening to get back to 18. Was good fun, interesting and challenging layout. Practice facilities and restaurant/bar are really nice. Well worth a visit for 9 and some food.
Played 18 holes a couple weekends ago. (9 holes twice, with two different pins each hole.)
The recently constructed holes were brilliant, however the older, worn holes left a bit to be desired.
For the second nine, the weather turned and was bucketing down - which didn’t help the experience, but not much they can do about it!
Option of motorbike buggies is appealing, and two of my group enjoyed theirs. Myself and another shared a traditional cart and were pleased.
Shop is small, no options for sandwiches/pastry at the turn.
After the 18, the restaurant/cafe turned us away due to the weather restricting table space.
Overall I have given the course a 3/5, however I hope in 6 months, I’ll be able to return on a nicer day and increase this rating.
Great couse with awesome greens, and fantastic restaurant. Clean restrooms and modern. Beautiful outlook with big playground for the kids. A must visit even if it's for the food and drinks.
I spent the day catching up with an old friend who we have seen for many years. We visited Links Kennedy Bay in 2019, I love it so much.
The course needed to be respected when there is wind, and can't be too aggressive in your game. The greens were beautiful and you would have to craft your shots around the course, which then allows for scoring opportunities.
The pro shop staff were friendly and great to talk to. And were very welcoming. The bar staff/ dining area of the club house were awesome, just made my mate and I feel at home.
Well done links Kennedy Bay Golf Links. I will be back to give the course another go. The wildlife on and around the course is beautiful.
Highly recommend this golf course as a must do golf experience. ⛳️
